As epígrafes romanas do Monte do Chaparral (Vila Velha de Ródão)

Abstract

Divulgam-se dez fragmentos de lajes em rochas metassedimentares com gravações alfabetiformes cuja grafia indica pertencerem aos primórdios da ocupação romana desta área, profundamente marcada pela exploração de ouro aluvionar. Embora não exista um único texto completo foi possível documentar pelo menos a referência a um natural de Clunia e o nome Italicus.

We disclose ten pieces of metasedimentary rocks with alphabetiform recordings. Its spelling indicates they belong to the beginnings of the Roman occupation of this area deeply marked by the exploitation of alluvial gold. Although there is no single complete text it was possible to document at least the reference to a citizen from Clunia and the name "Italicus".
