Punk Online. Punk Offline. Espaços e tempos cruzados das (sub) culturas juvenis portuguesas

Abstract

Este artigo analisa a tensão constitutiva da cultura punk a partir de uma dimensão particular: a dialética entre o global e o local. Debruça-se sobre o contexto muito particular das cenas punk em Portugal, de 1977 até à atualidade, abordando as suas múltiplas ancoragens espaciais: on e off line. Trata-se de entrecruzar analiticamente a vinculação e as pertenças territoriais e afetivas do punk com as novas fronteiras, interações e dinâmicas propiciadas pela Internet no espaço virtual de afirmação do punk português no presente.

This text analyses the constitutive tension of the punk culture from a particular dimension: the dialectic between the global and the local. It focuses on the very particular context of the punk scenes in Portugal, from 1977 to the present, addressing its multiple spatial anchorages: on and off line. In this text we intertwin analytically the linkage and the territorial and affective belongings of punk to the new frontiers, interactions and dynamics provided by the Internet in the virtual space of affirmation of Portuguese punk in the present.
