Nacionalismo, internacionalismo, pacifismo. As vozes das mulheres - três itinerários

Abstract

Consideremos os exemplos de três mulheres e dos seus itinerários no período entre as duas guerras - Annette Kolb, Louise Weiss, Marie-Elisabeth Lüders. A abordagem destes três itinerários permite-nos ver como estas mulheres procuraram compreender as mutações que a Primeira Grande Guerra tinha provocado no equilíbrio europeu - num mundo então eurocêntrico e, após 1945, no equilíbrio do mundo. O seu itinerário caracteriza-se ainda pelo gosto, pelo estudo e pela compreensão das relações internacionais. Nos anos 20, Kolb, Weiss e Lüders tinham adquirido uma experiência internacional rara na época, sobretudo para uma mulher. Elas tiveram a coragem de defender posições anticonformistas, e e até mesmo provatórias, no contexto do seu tempo.

We will consider the examples of three women and their journeys in the period between two World Wars - Annette Kolb, Louise Weiss, Marie-Elisabeth Lüders. The approach to these three journeys allows us to see how these women tried to understand the changes that the First World War had brought to the European balance - both in the Eurocentric world of the time and, after 1945, in the world's balance. Their journeys are also characterized by the appreciation, the study and the understanding of international relations. During the 1920s, Kolb, Weiss and Lüders had acquired an international experience that was rare for their time, especially for women. They had the courage to defend anti-conformist and even provocative stances in the context of their time.
