The participants (175 pregnant women or women during the postpartum period) answered a set of questionnaires (IAPSSM, General and Actual Help seeking Questionnaire, Depression Literacy Questionnaire, Emotion Regulation Difficulties Scale). The Confirmatory Factor Analysis supports the adequacy of the original three-dimensional model of the IAPSSM (Psychological Openness, Help-Seeking Propensity, and Indifference to Stigma). The IAPSSM presents good convergent validity and fidelity, except for the dimension Psychological Openness. The results suggest that IAPSSM is a questionnaire with potential for use in research and clinical practice, allowing the identification of psychological (attitudinal) factors that influence women’s use of mental health services in the perinatal period. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10316/45100 | DOI: | 10.14195/1647-8606_60-2_4 | Rights: | openAccess |
