A internacionalização do Ensino Superior resultante do novo cenário global: o caso da Universidade de Coimbra

Abstract

O seguinte trabalho é referente ao estágio curricular realizado na Divisão de Relações Internacionais da Universidade de Coimbra entre outubro de 2016 e março de 2017, tendo como objetivo entender as “relações internacionais” no contexto do Ensino Superior, com evidência para a importância da existência de um serviço de relações internacionais nas instituições de ensino superior e, ainda, a integração do serviço de Relações Internacionais na Administração e nas regras da Administração Pública.O presente relatório remete para a importância da internacionalização do Ensino Superior, com especial ênfase na Universidade de Coimbra. Para isso, realizar-se-à uma contextualização histórica e panorâmica da internacionalização no âmbito do Ensino Superior no mundo, no contexto nacional e, por fim, no âmbito da Universidade de Coimbra, complementada com a importância da adoção de práticas de avaliação de desempenho da administração (SIADAP) e de gestão da qualidade.

The following report refers to the curriculum internship held at the International Relations Unit of the University of Coimbra between october 2016 and march 2017 with the objective of understanding the “international relationships” in the Higher Education context, with evidence for the importance of the international relations service at the higher education institutions and still the integration of the International Relations service on the administration and on the rules of Public Administration.This report refers to the importance of internationalization of Higher Education with special emphasis in the University of Coimbra. For this, there will be a history and panoramic context of internationalization within the scope of Higher Education in the world, in the national context and, at the end, in the context of University of Coimbra complemented by the importance of the adoption of evaluation and performance practices in administration (SIADAP) and quality management.
