Produções em linguagem e questões étnico-raciais

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo é revisar produções científicas referentes à linguagem que foram publicadas em artigos indexados no portal da SciELO. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada por meio de busca eletrônica das publicações científicas indexadas, em cujo título constasse o descritor linguagem, e abrange os artigos publicados no Brasil no período de 2015 a 2020. Os dados subsidiaram a elaboração de planilhas que facilitaram a sistematização das informações coletadas da bibliografia sobre linguagem por meio de busca eletrônica. A proposta foi apreender quais assuntos e áreas do conhecimento têm sido abordadas com maior frequência nessas publicações e se os estudos têm discutido sobre relações étnico-raciais. Desse modo, discutiu-se acerca de linguagem e dos estudos sobre as relações étnico-raciais. Adotaram-se aportes teóricos dos estudos de racismo e linguagem (ZAVALA e BACK, 2017). Além da perspectiva da hermenêutica de profundidade (HP), de J.B. Thompson (2011), como referencial metodológico. A análise mostrou poucos estudos que relacionassem a linguagem ao contexto do debate étnico-racial. Sugere-se outras investigações que busquem problematizar acerca do tema da linguagem e racismo, linguagem e raça.

The aim of this study is to review scientific productions related to language that were published in articles indexed on the SciELO portal. The bibliographic research was carried out through an electronic search of indexed scientific publications, in which the title contained the descriptor language, and covers articles published in Brazil from 2015 to 2020. The data supported the preparation of spreadsheets that facilitated the systematization of information collected from the bibliography on language through electronic search. The proposal was to apprehend which subjects and areas of knowledge have been addressed most frequently in these publications and whether studies have discussed ethnic-racial relations. Thus, language and studies on ethnic-racial relations were discussed. Theoretical contributions from racism and language studies were adopted (ZAVALA and BACK, 2017). In addition to the perspective of depth hermeneutics (HP), by J.B. Thompson (2011), as a methodological framework. The analysis showed few studies that related language to the context of ethnic-racial debate. We suggest further investigations that seek to problematize the theme of language and racism, language and race.
