Redes de Inovação Territoriais na Região de Aveiro - Os Instrumentos de Apoio da Agência de Inovação (ADI)

Abstract

A presente investigação pretende entender a tradução espacial das redes de inovação da Re- gião de Aveiro, procurando perceber o contexto em que estas redes operam e as suas diferentes dimensões. Construiu-se uma base de dados dos diferentes instrumentos de apoio da Agência de Inovação num passado recente (2000 a 2012), considerando as entidades participantes, finan- ciamento e áreas tecnológicas. Recorre8ndo à metodologia de análise de redes sociais e ao template NodeXL, elaborou-se uma matriz de relações das instituições participantes em cada projeto visando a construção de grafos e a defi- nição de um conjunto de métricas que permitam compreender as ligações entre os atores e as implicações dessas ligações para a estrutura da rede.

This investigation intends to understand the spatial translation of the innovation networks of the Aveiro Region, trying to identify the frame in which these networks operate and their dif- ferent dimensions. A data base of the different instruments of support of the Agency of Inno- vation in the recent past (2000-2012) was made, considering the participants, fields of action and funding. Resorting to the methodology of the analysis of social networks and the template NodeXL, a matrix of the relationships between the institutions was built, aiming the construc- tion of graphs and the definition of a set of met- rics and relations that allow us to understand the connections between the actors and the im- plications to the structure of the network.
