Abstract: In this paper we present a mathematical model to describe the evolution of brain tumour cells under the effect of a chemotherapy drug. A theoretical analysis on the total mass of cells in the system provides useful information to design treatment protocols, relating the frequency of treatments with the dosage of drug in each treatment. Their efficiency is theoretically and numerically illustrated and discussed.
