A História Local e o Património como estratégia no ensino da História. Experiência Pedagógica no 8º ano.

Abstract

O relatório de Mestrado em Ensino de História no 3.º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário que apresentamos tem como objetivo divulgar os resultados do nosso estudo sobre a utilização da História Local e Património, enquanto estratégia no ensino da História, realizado no contexto da prática pedagógica supervisionada, no ano letivo de 2020/2021, na Escola Básica n.º 2 do Agrupamento de Escolas de Condeixa a Nova. Tendo em conta o programa e as metas curriculares do 8.º ano, o presente estudo tentou valorizar e potenciar o trabalho em volta da História Local e do Património. Apesar de, ao longo do presente ano letivo, terem sido desenvolvidos outros trabalhos com a mesma temática, entendemos que o resultado final a apresentar neste relatório se deve centrar no estudo das Invasões Francesas, mais concretamente no impacto que elas causaram a nível local: em Condeixa a Nova.Face ao que acabámos de expor e usando a História e o Património de Condeixa a Nova, pretende se responder à seguinte questão: De que forma é que a História Local e o Património podem ajudar na construção de conhecimento histórico? As aplicações didáticas realizadas, utilizadas de modo a aproximar os alunos à História e Património de Condeixa-a-Nova, passaram pela realização, num primeiro momento, de duas fichas documentais com fontes históricas ligadas à História Local. Inicialmente pretendemos que a turma ao contactar com fontes escritas pudesse relacionar o Património de Condeixa-a-Nova, nomeadamente os solares, com a questão do Antigo Regime português. Já a segunda atividade em que recorremos a fontes históricas introduziu a questão do incêndio de Condeixa-a-Nova, em 1811, no âmbito da 3ª Invasão Francesa. Na terceira e última aplicação didática, foi reconstruída a história do Património apresentado nas fichas documentais através de uma imagem interativa, na aplicação Thinglink, de modo a consolidarem as aprendizagens realizadas, a desenvolverem competências de seleção crítica e a apresentarem informação em ambientes digitais.Com a realização destas atividades podemos atestar que os alunos se sentiram motivados a compreender as temáticas abordadas nas aulas e a conhecer melhor o espaço em que se encontra inserida a instituição na qual estudavam.

The Master's report on Teaching History in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education that we present aims to present the results of our study on the use of Local History and Heritage as a strategy in the teaching of History, carried out in the context of supervised pedagogical practice in the school year 2020/2021, held at Basic School no. 2 of Condeixa a Nova. Considering the program and curricular goals of the 8th grade, the main objective of this study was to try to value and enhance the work around Local History and Heritage. Although other works with the same theme will be developed during the present school year, we understand that the final result to be presented in this report should focus on the study of the French Invasions, more specifically on the impact that they caused in Condeixa a Nova Local History.Based on what we explained previously and using the History and Heritage of Condeixa a Nova, we intend to answer the following question: How can Local History and Heritage help in building historical knowledge? The didactic applications used to bring students closer to the History and Heritage of Condeixa-a-Nova went through, at first, with two documentary files that contains historical sources linked to Local History. Firstly, we intended that the group, when contacting written sources, could relate the Heritage of Condeixa-a-Nova, namely the manor houses, with the question of the Portuguese Old Regime. The second activity in which we resorted to historical sources, introduced the issue of the Condeixa-a-Nova fire, in 1811, within the scope of the 3rd French Invasion. In the third and last didactic application, the history of the heritage presented in the documentary files was reconstructed through an interactive image, in the Thinglink application, in order to consolidate the learning carried out, develop critical selection skills and present information in digital environments.By carrying out these activities, we can attest that the students felt motivated to better understand the topics covered in the classes and to better understand the space in which the institution in which they study is located.
